Tilda Tuesday: Keeping Warm
A cat improves the garden wall in sunshine, and the hearth in foul weather. – Judith Merkle Riley
Matilda has a new spot. Lately I’ve been finding her crouched by the wood stove that we just installed. She would cozy right up to it so I grabbed her bed and put it on the hearth for her. That’s her hearth now.
And she dresses it up beautifully. Good work, Matilda!

Yep, she’s a beauty! It’s such a peaceful scene when she is curled up by the fire. I’ll have to capture that sometime. 🙂

I have three cats and there is a lot of pushing and shoving when the fire is on. They lay like sausages in a row

This peaceful scene reminds me of the saying “A home without a cat is just a house”. 🙂

Hi there, thank you for stopping by! Thanks for the hugs and nose kisses, those are my favorite. Matilda gives me good headbutts so she sends one to you too. Don’t worry, they are soft and sweet. 🙂
