Frosty and Stormy Blue
The title may sound like names of pets but really I’m describing the month of March in Wyoming.
This might be the most unpredictable month for weather in Wyoming.
Wednesday was the first official day of spring and we started out with a sparkly layer of frost on the deck.
The sky dramatically changed midday and stayed deep blue until sunset.
We never got any moisture from all of those storm clouds. So very disappointing.
But the river is always a beautiful view any time of the year. Drought or no drought.
Your photos are amazing ! what sort of camera do you you use ? I have an lx5 and a canon 350D but I admit that the lx5 is proving very sophisticated for me …. too much so ? I admire your work tremendously. Nathalie

Thank you for the kind words Nathalie! I shoot with all Canon bodies: 20D, 30D, 40D, 60D. And a plethora of lenses. The body isn’t as important as the lens though.

Thanks Lenore. I do love these awesome blue skies we are getting. Makes up for the lack of color on the ground.

Those skies are something. I love to see them reflected in water like your last photo. The colors are all so stark and vivid in contrast to the not yet greening earth.

Thanks Alice! I also love the reflecting blue! And even though I’m craving more color, I’m enjoying the color contrast in these as well.
