Could I please send over my two Dachsies in desperate need of some warmth and sunshine?

Wishing you a lovely day from a rainy Holland,

This is so cute! Heatwaves are not that good to handle. I was kind of used to heatwaves in South Africa. Here in NZ I must handle the cold now! Thanks for sharing and enjoy

One reason I moved here was for the cooler temps! In Georgia, it’s so humid and hot. Here, it is dry and hot. Either way, it’s HOT! 🙂

We’ve been hopping from beach to beach this summer! We just got a sprinkling of rain for the first time this July. Everything is so crispy!

We got a sprinkle last night but it dried up so fast, it I would have blinked I wouldn’t have know we got one. Mmmm the beach sounds nice. 🙂

Great shots Leah, how lucky you are to have such beautiful wild creatures around you. We r having temps of 104 plus!!!! Exhausting, after taking shots for 3 hours or more in the city. (No mosquitos). Laid up last week with so many bites and swellings, you get that problem with the mozzies?

Thanks Lynn! Oh yes, the bugs are rough. After my shower, I dapple myself with tea tree oil all over my bites. Deer flies, mosquitos, ants, spiders. Bugs are the downside of country living.

Oh my, that’s a little chilly for summer. Although we’d welcome that for a couple days. But it wouldn’t be good for the corn crops. They like it hot!

That Elk is just great. He looks very proud and well he should be. That rabbit on the other hand looks like dinner. Yum!
