Birds
Remember Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”? Well, if you are in Macon Georgia tonight you can see it on the big screen put on by the College Hill Corridor. But if you are not in Macon, prepare to be terrified by these birds that swarmed Palmer Canyon Road recently.

Patrick says sparrows. Which makes me think of the Stephen King movie, “The Dark Half”. I say blackbirds or crows. It was getting dark and they were fast. Hard to say but I see crows out here everywhere.

I think I have to agree with you Leah, no offense Patrick, they look to big to be sparrows. Of course western sparrows might be different than eastern sparrows. I will check that out in my Western Birds book.

Leah! I was in Macon tonight, and I did see “The Birds” at the cemetery. It was fun (and chilly). I hope you remember me! I worked at Mercer in the University Relations office and worked with you on some photo shoots for Mercer and for Dr. Gabriel.
I struck up a conversation with your sister-in-law not long ago and discovered who she was and where you had moved to. I’ve wanted to visit your blog and just now found time to look you up.
I haven’t explored yet, but I love the bird photos. Quite timely after my little trip to the cemetery tonight.

We babysat for Joey last night when Ken and Kimberly went to Riverside Cemetary to see The Birds. How creepy was that. They had a good time. I always loved that movie.
We’ll go over on Saturday to see Joey in his costume, and take pictures. Have a good weekend.
