Digging in the Dirt

Dandelions.
I know I’m not the only one that battles these garden invaders. (Although I do like to photograph them.)

I’ve started tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, beans, and spinach in containers inside and this weekend I plan to pull weeds to get the garden ready for planting.  I’ll start squash and zucchini in peat pots this weekend too.
I hope we have had our last freeze because I’m so excited to start my first veggie garden in Wyoming soil.

Hi Leah! I hope you are doing well! As you may know, I started a blog last August. I have looked to your blog for ideas as well as pure love of your photos and new cowgirl living. I was nominated by several fellow bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award.

Beyond breathtaking! Love your blog; came to you from Always a Project. My sister and her husband are summer ranchers in Wyoming, taking care of 5 ranches cattle on state land (live rest of yr in Iowa!) and I’ll tell her of your lovely blog, too.

    Bonjour,
En France aussi les pissenlits envahissent les jardins et les pelouses.
Quand ils ils sont jeunes, ils se mangent en salade avec des oeufs durs.
Très belles pages et photos de votre ranch.
    Cordialement
