It’s that time of year for intense storms with cloud-to-ground lightning. Last night was just that with a lot of lightning and some rainfall. We pray the ground is wet in all of the places it hit.

We sat on our deck and watched this for about an hour last night. We never got any of the moisture but somebody somewhere sure did. I pray that everywhere that lightning struck, there was a ton of rain to stamp out any sparks that could potentially flare up. But what a show!

We were surrounded by storms last night. Reece Mountain was was lit up in the night sky, getting struck a dozen times or more. I went to bed praying that we wouldn’t see smoke today. I haven’t seen or smelled anything this morning. Hoping it stays that way.
