Morning Frost
There isn’t any snow on the ground but I did wake up to glitter covering the meadows.
The ranch sparkling in the early morning sun makes for a lovely walk after a warm cup of coffee.

On my second pandemic birthday, I celebrated by paddling around a cypress filled pond and camped right by the water. Thankfully, no gators popped up with birthday wishes. It was peaceful, idyllic and a refreshing getaway for the weekend. I am no stranger to isolation since 8 years in Wyoming taught me how to live quietly and this past year has been reminiscent of that time. It has been another good slow down for me but certainly not without anxiety. Political unrest, pain, sickness, and death has weighed heavily on all of us. It has been so hard for so many. Reconnecting with old friends and being so close to family has been the support I’ve needed, if only by texting and zooms and the occasional masked porch and patio visits. These connections are now on a whole new level. I feel a closeness that I’ve never felt before and I am grateful.
Oh my heart. Just a girl and her fluffy orange boy. She loves her Iroh so much that her parents and I decided we just HAD to do a mini session of these two. ❤
Wherever you are I hoped you looked up at the sky tonight. Mercury is a stunning red and the harvest moon is bright and full. But the real show happened when the clouds rolled in.

I had the pleasure of visiting @gibbsgardens in North Georgia before the lockdown. Rain sprinkled down as we walked the 300 acres in awe of the tulips and daffodils in the various gardens. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Where flowers bloom, so does hope. Happy Earth Day! .
