I miss the West so very much, it stole my heart and captured my soul. One of my favorite memories from our trip this summer included bison. We became part of the herd while driving through Custer state park in SD. It was amazing to be surrounded by bison of all ages 🙂

It will do that! It did it to me and I picked up everything and took a chance. So far, Wyoming has not let me down (except for the insane amount of wind but I’m learning to embrace it). 🙂

Great shot! Aren’t those little horns cute? Amazing, the calf does not seem that big and has horns already. They must begin to grow them at a very early age. Or how old do you think the calf was?

Thanks Doris! He was about 4 months old. The horns start very early apparently!
