Tilda Tuesday: In the Weeds
Ugh. As they say in the restaurant business, I’m in the weeds. I’m trying to find some balance in all this busyness so you know what that means? It’s time to step away from it all for a few moments. And that’s what Matilda and I did this morning. We stepped outside for some fresh air and I decided I’d try the multiple exposure function on my Canon 70D. I was encouraged to try this from my friend Tracie over HERE. I’ve done some double exposures in Photoshop by layering but this is the first time I’ve tried this function in camera. I obviously need more practice. In this image, one shot is of sagebrush and a bald sky. The other is of Tilda but because of the bald sky, there isn’t any detail for her upper half. But I like the stripes and curl of her tail. 🙂
Our little walk made it all better. Happy Tilda Tuesday everyone!
I think it turned out wonderful and I’m so glad you and Matilda stepped away for a bit for some fresh air. It’s like a domino affect, I was encouraged to try something new, then you and who knows who else may jump in and play. I sure love this community so very much.

Thanks Tracie! I had a really cool one but it’s a vertical. For some reason WordPress rotates it horizontal and when I go “edit” image and rotate it, it loses quality. It gets fuzzy and broken up. I don’t understand what the deal is. But this one is kinda cool. Thanks again for the encouragement!

I like it! She’s kind of like a backwards Cheshire cat 🙂

Is Matilda a Maine Coon or a Maine Coon mix? My girl Mary Jane is a mix. These are the best cats in the world.

I don’t think so. She isn’t as big as those cats but she is shaggy and beautiful. And her big green eyes steal my heart daily. 🙂
