Sing Out, Meadowlark!

My favorite sign of springtime is the Meadowlark. Their song is beautiful and they surround me with a sweet melody as I walk the meadow checking cattle. It’s a happy Monday!

Calving season is upon us and it’s my duty to watch out for girls in the meadow as well as the heifers (first time mothers) in the corral close to the house.
