A Fixed Gaze
I am always watched closely when I take a walk by the river. Sometimes they are right behind me, sometimes they keep their distance. But the cattle always have a fixed gaze and drool hoping I have yummies to share.

I bet they’re disappointed when there is none to share!

Yes Ranu, they are disappointed and I always feel like a tease! But I do go down with Patrick when he lugs the 50lb bag of cow cake to them. Just to let them know I’m not always stingy! 🙂

Leah!! That’s a cool picture… Almost a silhouette of trees and cows. Also, nothing wrong with TLC with goodies!

Thanks Bob! 🙂 I leave the carrying of the 50lb bag of cake to Patrick. Plus, I always have trouble with keeping the horses away. They can’t have the cake because they will get sick as heck!

Cattle really are quite curious. I’ve seen them walk up to small children (if the child has been standing still and quiet). Scares the kids! They will also walk up to our pickup as we sit and watch/check them.

aww that’s so cute. It would be funny if the next time you turned around they were directly behind you like “oh hey, sup.”
