Tilda Tuesday: Free Thinker

“You know you can’t tell a cat nothin’ sweetheart.”- Skip Yetter (my Dad)

We are having windspeeds up to 65mph and it’s cold cold cold. But Matilda still thinks she wants to go outside. Even though I tell her and warn her that it’s miserable, she just doesn’t listen. I let her out and in less than 30 seconds she’s shivering and hollering to come back in. My dad and I were laughing about this the other day and he said the quote above in his best southern drawl. I thought it was funny. 🙂

Great shot Leah. Couldn’t help but laugh. Humm..maybe you need to knit her a kitty sweater 🙂

hahaha I love this! It’s so true. Cats never quite understand weather until they’re standing in it (and then have to be reminded of it an hour later).

Our Jimmy is just the same. Cold as hell – yet he wants out. It often takes him less than 30 seconds to get back inside. 😉

Our cat is doing the same thing! He keeps meowing at the door and we let him out. A few minutes later he yowls to come back in, and we let him in. A few minutes after that, he wants to go back outside again!

She’s so stinkin’ cute! The saying I heard was “You can tell a cat, you just can’t tell em much!” Our poor little Bebe has to have a
little jacket on since she has no body fat. She doesn’t mind having it put on cuz she knows it’s cold out there!

That is a perfect cat quote!

I love cats and their independent attitude…but I’m so allergic to them that I can’t even be in the same room. Drat! I’m enjoying your Tilda Tuesday!

What a sweet picture! Love your dad’s quote and he is right. : ) cats do what they want to do, don’t they? Hugs and nose kisses
