Yellow Moon Rising

The moon was HUGE and bright yellow last night. I captured this while on my way home from town after a wonderful photo shoot with an energetic two year old.  That’s our power plant in the distance. Normally I try to avoid the power plant and power lines but I really liked this scene.

Have a great start to your week!

I agree, I hate power lines, but this is really beautiful!

Thanks Bonnie! Yeah, I used to avoid them like the plague but ever since I’ve been shooting for WREN Magazine, I’ve been looking at power lines and poles in a whole new light. It’s kind of funny!

it has been breathtaking here in the valley as well. unfortunately it rises when i’m leaving work and sets when i’m heading to, so i mostly just get to enjoy it from my car 😉

In a hundred years maybe people will look at the power plant in the way we look at water mills and cobble streets now…
