You Knock Me off My Feet

It’s amazing what you’ll find off I-25.

A Bison ranch right off the frontage road has a large herd of Buffalo and their calves. This girl was having a blast rolling around in the dirt.

She’s glad it’s Friday.

Don’t we all want to do that sometimes? Then we poke our heads up and ask–was anyone watching—was that too undignified?

Actually, I saw a couple bulls out there. They were pretty grumpy and just pointed their rear at the camera. Needless to say, they did not get a portrait.

It’s bath time for buffalo! I think she’s getting ready for the weekend. Perfect shot.

Ha! Thanks Mary! I crack up every time I look at them. Wish I could share the sounds she made. By the grunts and groans, I’d say rolling around felt good!

I always love the glimpses you give us of your Wyoming country. Wish we could send some of that rain your way too. Seems really unfair.

I just love these shots! The only other time I’ve seen an animal that big move like that is when a clydesdale I was walking decided to roll… it’s so cool to see them having fun!

Wow! Looks amazing! I love these animals…such a shame they are fewer everyday,at least in Europe…they will be soon an extinct species.
