A summer that is hot and oh so dry.

A sneaky beaver in the Laramie River…

The third apple on our apple tree hanging high.

I’m not having a good summer of veggie or fruit production. It’s terrible hot and when it “rains” it’s just a light drizzle, nothing significant.
Oh winter, I look forward to your next visit.

I would think winters in Wyoming are not always easy for uprooted magnolias. Brr!

Well, Larry, I’ve lived through 2 winters out here and they aren’t too bad…so far at least. I overheated in Georgia and now this summer has heated me up so much that I welcome the cool temperatures that Wyoming winters have to offer. 🙂

Yeah, but winters can be pretty harsh, too! Seems like we can’t count on the weather to be reliable anymore.

Loved the Bee on Thistle photo
I have had my home under water 3 times by Beavers so I don’t SHOOT them with my camera 😦
Your Apple is beautiful mine seems to be just for the Hummingbirds and bees when in bloom then nothing as I do totally Organic on my land and they need something I can’t seem to give them but on the other hand I have the most incredible Pear tree with over 300 fruit on it right now, can’t wait to make some Pear Compote or Crumble
Thanks for letting us into your day
