Wild Baby Turkeys

The hens are starting to bring their babies out. I love how close they stay together.

They are little yet but I’ve seen them fly.

In fact, they can make the high jump to roost with mom in the trees by the river.

It must be a treat to see the young turkeys more or less in your back yard. I guess turkey hens are good moms too!

  I know! I always say they look like ballerinas! They prance around and are so fun to watch. They usually walk single file to the tree and then leap up to the nest one at a time.

I think that is actually the only time I have ever seen a baby turkey. Who knew? that even baby turkeys are cute!

That first picture could write a children’s book so cute we have them Here in wc they are so loud when they plop out of the trees. Great eyes hard to catch I love it makes me laugh.everytime I look at it
