Home Sweet Home

I had a wonderful time down south but it sure is good to be home. Even if the sunflowers are gone and the leaves have blown away. It’s been snowing off an on since I’ve been back and I’ve finally cooled off from the warm temps of the southeast. It’s 5 below zero out there this morning.

I still have some recaps of Georgia to share with you but never fear, I’ll get back to our regular program soon. In the meantime, click here for the before shot back in August of almost the same scene above.

So glad to be back. See you soon!

Welcome home! I love the comparative shots. A lot has changed. Strangely its like we’re still stuck in fall here… wet and 40’s. You’ve dealing with MUCH colder temperatures!

Yeah it’s cold, an REALLY windy. Looks like it’s going to be a long winter. Still, I’m glad to be back home.

Gorgeous pictures . . . I especially enjoyed this one, after viewing the “before.” Seasons are amazing things, aren’t they?

Yes! Everything looks so different per season. In fact I’m working on a seasonal project for a client who lives part time out here. He’s enjoying seeing everything change. And change drastically. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks, I do too. Sometimes it looks really bland but if the sky is just right, everything pops, even though it is all frozen and dead. Thanks for commenting!

The same week you posted this picture, we still had some sunflowers in Austin:

But even when there are still lots of sunflowers here, I’m with you in liking the way they look when they’re drying out:
