Pittsburgh is Lucky

Posted in Photography, Thankful by leahyetter on June 2, 2011

Today I’m blue.

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to a friend. Her hubby got a new job in Pittsburgh.

She was a sweet surprise when I first moved here. Reached out to me immediately being an artist/photographer from the Southeast US herself. We instantly connected.

Now she will start a photographic journey in a place she’s a little more familiar with than when she first came here. I wish them all the best in their new life.

Vickie, I am so thankful for your friendship. You will be missed.  ♥

That is sad that you have lost a friend, but now start looking forward to seeing her again in the months and years ahead. True friendship can span barriers of country, time and distance.
also you have your PC to keep in touch

Oh, Leah! I am just now reading this and you brought tears to my eyes! I’m going to miss you, too! I already wish you were here so we could take off with our cameras and go exploring together. I think I see a visit to Pittsburgh in your future 🙂

And I just wanted to say that reaching out to you was one of the best ideas I ever had! You were more open and warm and wonderful that I could have even hoped for, and your cowboy, too 🙂 Thanks for being my friend.
