Algae Art
During a lovely weekend walk, I stumbled upon another stream full of algae. And this one looks like a watercolor.
The shapes and swirls were soft and mesmerizing.
The color was so vibrant against the winter wearied grass banks and sleepy trees.
Great photographs – I like the swirls. Reminds me of a famous painting but I can’t think which one.

Too bad Monet didn’t see this algae before he painted all those darn water lilies! But you must have water lilies growing there in little ponds too?

You know Judy, I’ve been looking for lilly pads. But I haven’t seen any! It seems like I remember seeing some higher in the ponds in the hills. I am definitely looking for them!
