Dearest Wyoming,

Posted in Home, Nature, Photography, Winter by leahyetter on April 6, 2011

You are beautiful. Your wide open spaces, your mountains of rock full of wildlife, your gorgeous landscapes…. my camera and I could just eat you up. “Slop you up with a biscuit” as we say in the south.

But do you think that maybe, just maybe, you could stop snowing?! You woke me up at 5am this morning with big wet blobs of snow falling from the sky. I’m thankful that it’s warmer than January but it’s April now. And I’m ready to take off my snowboots and slip on my groovy flipflops. Let me know your thoughts ASAP.

    Dear Wyoming,
Did you really think we wanted to keep all this white stuff to ourselves!?!

    Dear Wyoming,

After you grant Leah her much needed wish, please speak to your distant cousin Massachusetts, and ask her (yes, MA is female) to stop snowing on her flock, too. We’re ready for sunshine and beach weather, please.

Yes, and being a Red Sox fan a win would be a blessing.

    Dear Leah,

Savannah and her cousin Tybee await you. You can wear flip flops year-round.

This photo is absolutely gorgeous. I love how the colors pop out of the photo and the angle is perfect. Very nice

This is really beautiful. You know if I get to choose only one place to visit in US, it will definitely be Wyoming. 🙂
I love your pictures so much. They are so nice. Gives me a lighter mood by seeing how beautiful the world is. Thank you!

Hi Leah, Sorry that your weather is not quite what you want, but give it a week or two and the sun will shine, the flowers will bloom and the sky will be blue.

Here in Bulgaria it was lovely and warm yesterday, lovely sun and blue skies with little fluffy clouds. Today it is blowing a gale!
    Tomorrow…,who knows

    Love P

Kind of sounds like Wyoming. We’ll have a warm day and snow the next. Bizarre and annoying!
