Fire in the Valentine Sky
The weather was absolutely gorgeous yesterday. T-shirt weather in Wyoming in February. Unbelievable!
But the most unbelievable part about yesterday was the incredible evening sunset.
We had an exciting surprise when we arrived to the bluffs to feed Patrick’s cattle. Let’s just say that the neighbors bull jumped the fence last year and we had a couple of bundles of joy waiting for us…a month early. Tune in tomorrow for the baby announcements. 😉
Wow, what a beautiful, evocative photo! It looks like the sky is on fire (or like the sun is swallowing up the earth!) 🙂

Thanks! I know! I looked out of the truck window and yelled STOP!! Patrick slammed on brakes, dirt went flying, and I started shooting.

What an incredible sky. Just as well you had your camera.

Yeah really! I don’t go anywhere without my camera. In fact, I went to a friends office one time to drop some prints off and she said “You look different”. Turns out, she’s never seen me without a camera around my neck. I looked funny to her!

Well, just the early ones. It’s hard to control a bull that knows what he wants. You with me ladies? 😉

Wonderful shot! Don’t be surprised if someone asks you to license it as CD artwork.

Wow, thank you! I’ve done a few CD covers in the past but nothing recently. And not with any of my Wyoming photography. I’ve actually thought that with several of my sunsets and some winter images. Thanks again!
