A Dash of Spring
We had another “spring break” day last week and that meant time outside for a wander.
The river rushed in between and around the rocks and ice.
This buck was scratching his nose on the leafless branches.
This little guy was repairing his nest in a log by the river.
I don’t know how these ducks tolerate the freezing water.
But they did soak in the sun while paddling around.
And on my walk back to the house, ole Crop Ear and her baby stopped at the top of the hill for a hello.
fantastic photos 😀

Very lovely. How can you call it Spring right now!? Especially in Wyoming. I’m in nearby SD and although today it is unseasonably warm (35 degrees) we have had the major cold snaps too! I hope you’re loving the rough country with your cowboy and that you don’t miss Georgia too much.

Love your photos of the land and the wildlife! What does your home look like? We don’t work in your area, but since we do home remodels I always interested in that!
Do you have a nice cozy cabin, or a more standard home or perhaps you are remodeling an old farm house?
Just curious, in Washington state. Thanks again for the pics – I have two cats.
