Paddys Frost
Once I got away from Cheyenne sticking his nose in my lens, Patrick’s horse greeted me through the fence.
Her nickname is Rat because Patrick says she looked like a rat when she was a yearling. Her birth name is Paddys Frost and I don’t think she looks like a rat at all.
She’s a beautiful gray mare with a spunky attitude.
She was calm and curious this day during the snowfall.
Amazing capturing of the horse….made me think of the horse I had growing up.

I’ve loved every photo I looked at but the one at that top of this post made me gasp aloud with delight.
I can’t imagine how much work goes into maintaining land and animals like this, but is a stunning stunning landscape you’re helping to maintain. Thank you for sharing.

Your horse pictures are very nice, but the middle photo in this grouping is especially unique and stunning! I hope you enter it in a contest some time … I think it’s a real winner!

Wow, I love that middle picture as well! The way the color and texture of the wood blends with the color and texture of the horse is just fantastic – it’s almost as if they’re some amalgamation of creature and fence. Beautiful shot!
