Elk in the Road

Posted in Horses, Photography, The Ranch, Wildlife by leahyetter on December 10, 2010

Was trying to photograph the ranch horses running across the open pasture.

But this wad of elk got in my way.

Camera hogs.

I just found your blog and really enjoy your photos. I have friends in western Wyoming (Pinedale and Bondurant) and have visited there many times, beautiful country.

Hey, thanks for popping in! I’m flattered you are enjoying my photos. It IS beautiful country out here. I haven’t seen much more than the Southeast of Wyoming and most roads I travel on don’t have names! 🙂

these photos are beautiful! I am buying a canon rebel this weekend, one with video. Do you think it’s a good pick?

Absolutley! The rebels are fantastic cameras. I do not have a rebel because I need more buffer speed than the rebel can offer for when I’m shooting events, but that really isn’t a big issue for capturing nature, etc. Good luck and you will certainly be pleased. Refer to your manual and use the interent id you have questions on using it. There is a wealth of info online but feel free to holler if you have questions. I’ll be glad to assist in any way I can. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
