Great photo. I saw deer this weekend too and i even had the chance to see some very young fawns. It was so uplifting seeing them. Deer are truly majestic creatures.
They are majestic creatures! I just love the little fawns. There is one that hangs out near the house with her mom. They are so fun to watch, especially early in the morning. They frolic in the tall grass. Warms my heart.

What a great photo. Lashes is right, but you could call it wiskers. Look at those chin wiskers. What size is your telephoto lens? How close were you? Great work Leah. I love it!
Ha! Thanks Wiley! But I’ve already made a post called whiskers showing off the whiskers of a baby colt this winter. She has way more than this deer!
I used my telephoto but was still pretty close to her. She really did think I couldn’t see her. She and I both were standing so still.
