It’s so funny, Leah – I have the WP snowfall option on – so when I look at your photos, it looks as though it is snowing. Today’s shots looked particularly pretty with the snowflakes.
Thanks Lenore! I love the snowflakes for December on WP! Yeah, no real snow here yet but I’m hoping for some soon. The snow boots are by the front door.
Oh goodness! That’s how it was in Georgia last month. And it was muggy too! I was glad to get home to the chilly temps. I’m sure I’ll eat my words in a couple of months but I’m thankful for the frosty mornings and chilly nights. Nice to hear from you Nancy! Stay cool
Thanks so much Kelly! No, I don’t have any filters, this is straight light falling from the sky. The light is so crisp out here, all I use is my camera and tripod. I do minor enhancing in Photoshop but I’m lucky enough to have beautiful subjects with natural light that it doesn’t take much post production. Except when I do a little photo illustration with textures and whatnot. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
Hi there! I'm Leah. I am a freelance Photographer born and raised in the Southeast US. I have uprooted my life in Macon, Georgia for a new one as an unlikely cowgirl in love with a handsome cowboy in Wyoming. When I moved out here in 2010, we lived and worked on a cattle ranch. And I'm a vegetarian, go figure. Now, we are living on solar and wind power while I care for goats, chickens, and ducks while Patrick finds new work out here in cowboy country. Life is so good. My 16 year old orange tabby, Matilda, is sticking it out with us. I hope you enjoy our photo journal on life, love, and the spirit of Wyoming.
I am honored to provide optical stimulus to your otherwise hectic daily life. I do maintain the copyright on all images seen here on Uprooted Magnolia. If you are interested in ordering prints, I would be delighted to provide that service to you. I am in the process of building my very own shop but in the meantime, please email me uprootedmagnolia@leahyetter.com with your interests and I will provide you with ordering information. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you continue to enjoy my images of life and love here in the wild west.

Thank you! I love shooting morning light. Especially when there is glitter all over!

Hi Leah, I’m a new fan of your photos – and today’s are fantastic! Are you using a filter or are those the natural colors and light?
Wow either way!
