The Bunny High Jump

Posted in cuddly, Photography, The Ranch by leahyetter on February 25, 2011

Awe, it’s a bunny.

Sitting on a bale of hay…cute.

Looks like she’s burrowed a little home between 2 bales.

My, how high you can jump you cute wittle wabbit.

Silly wabbit, hay is for horses and cows!

I’ve wondered what rabbits eat in the winter. During most of the year I can see rabbits almost every day – they are out nibbling on lawns. But this winter I haven’t seen any, and I wondered where they go. They still have to eat.

Yeah, they seem to be nibbling a lot of hay this winter. But I don’t know what else. They are fat and happy hopping around here so they are finding something yummy during this intense winter.

Thanks Nina! We are crawling with bunnies out here. Or should I say hopping! They are so fast though and it’s hard to get a closeup of one. Thanks for stopping by!
